Yesterday when I came home from my trip to the shop, my next-door neighbour (he's the really nice one) was hosing down his patio (which is more than double the size of mine, despite having the same living area...a bit jealous... just imagine the amount I could grow!) with his water hose. He usually hoses down outside our front doors too, while he's at it, and I'm thankful for that.
I've been thinking that a water hose is not for me...but, yesterday he told me he bought his in a shop near us (one of those shops that has a bit cheeper prizes with goods in many different areas) and I thought...perhaps I could check... I did this morning, saw that there was 40% discount on all the products in this category, found one in my prise range and when for it. It'll be so much more easy to keep clean... to water my plants and to hose down the pots when the season is over. Perhaps I can even encourage the spiders to move, if I water the slabs often enough. And, perhaps the patio will be a bit more nice to be out on, since it's been a bit of a hassle to just water the plants, and the energy hasn't been there for the cleaning part. Now things will be easier and cleaner. 
Fingers crossed the connection between the hose and the kitchen sink will work!
