A Misty Sunrise

It was our youngest granddaughter’s 4th birthday yesterday - and as part of her ‘celebration’ we went to Bridlington to meet up with her family for a ‘Beach Breakfast’.

We left home around 5:20 a.m. and it was quite foggy around York so we were a bit worried that it may not clear - but this was the scene heading towards the coast at around 6 a.m. - just a quick phone grab shot through a mucky windscreen.

By the time we reached to beach it was fine and it turned into another scorcher of a day. We had a few hours on the beach and then a wander along the prom for an ice cream before heading home - in what tuned out to be a tedious journey stuck behind a combine harvester for miles and miles….
