I got a whole wall stripped before it got too hot, now there's only the top part of the window wall to do. I'd better take the curtains down.

Then the work will really begin as there are several areas where the skim layer has fallen off, I don't know why although it's fifty years old. After that there's the wallpapering - the walls are never going to be good enough to just paint! Followed by carpet, along with the little bedroom. 

Then I'll be able to move back into this room... it's only more than a year since I moved into the back one!
