Under the watchful eye of the little one, the eldest one missed the first shot at the first hole of the long begged for (by them, not me) game of mini golf.

Her fierce competitiveness caused a bit of grumpiness, that progressed nicely through the game, aided and empowered by the duration of the holiday and the slowly lingering desire to go home again…
