Rhubarb Coming

I may have mentioned my love of rhubarb before. Early rhubarb in the shops signals spring is coming. And we haven't reached the stage where early rhubarb is available all through the year!

Wandering around the garden looking for a blip, I noticed one of the plants which I planted in the autumn is showing signs of life. And showing the wrinkles and crinkles normally associated with the end.

I don't think it will ever become 'early' rhubarb.
