Rain at last !

It was forecast and it arrived with dark skies and rolls of thunder late afternoon - most welcome for gardens and especially the farmers. 

 The combines and balers have been hard at work getting much of the grain harvested while conditions have been so dry but a recent ban on irrigation was about to be very serious for the potatoes and veg crops.

Not a very dramatic rainbow but at least it confirmed that rain was falling !
