Cousins

After church, a lovely lunch here at home with one of my Irish cousins, his wife, their 2 daughters and their husbands, the Chilean parents of one of the husbands and these two delightful children (parental consent to post obtained!).

These cousins were born about 8 hours apart and celebrate their second birthdays this week. They live in different countries but chatted away happily to each other as they were playing.

A great excuse for cake and fizz. The weather was sunny and warm so we ate outdoors. Only at the end of the afternoon did the rain start, turning to thunder and lightning.
