Stag looking back to his Memories

Glencoe is such a beautiful part of west scotland & the Kings House Hotel is a must visit ( get your fingers google'ed lol
Weather wasn't very nice, mostly cloudy with small showers, we stopped off at the hotel to visit my friend Tam's Sister -in-laws memorial plaque ( her ashes were scattered near this location 5 years ago) the Family ( large family at that) visit twice a year, the parents are well into there late 80's and love to take this journey, the Father is blind ( has been for about 6 years) but insists on going, he enjoys getting pampered lol
Once the family have paid there respects, we all travel a few miles north to a car park ( The 3 Sisters mountain range) set up a Wind stopper type of manoeuvre with 5 vehicles ( a bit like the cowboys would do with the Wagons when being attacked by the Native American Indians) get out the gas cooker ( 2 rings) heat up the home made soup, each party brings lots of food & cakes ( way to much for us all to eat in a week far less in a afternoon) we gather round and tackle the spread set before us ( yum yum) the Father stays in the car, eyes wide open, fingers feeling for the sandwich while holding his hot home made soup, everyone is chatting, some going for a small walk down the glen to the small river, some taking photography's ( not me at this time, hands are too cold) I notice Bobby ( the Father) sitting along & smiling to himself, Mmmm! Penny for his thoughts I said to myself, off I got, into re drivers seat... Who's that he says ( as though Id disturbed his peace & quiet) its me toaster, ah! Toaster sit down & close the door, keep the heat in son, Bobby, I noticed you smiling to yourself there, can I ask what you were thinking about... He looks in my direction, his big blue eyes smiling, he says.. I was just remembering when all my children were little ( 7 girls & 3 boys) I would bring them up here every year, well until they found love & flew the nest, some still come up, maybe it's to recapture the same memories I was thinking about thrust then, before you came. Phew! That knocked the wind out of my sails and my eyes filled up with happiness ( Im so glad he could see me) well Bobby I said, those memories will last forever with you, your children & your grandchildren & great grandchildren & with me too!

I took lots of photos, the one reminds me of that story, :-)
