Blue Satin Rose of Sharon

A very wet night but drying now

The sunny, warm spell ended in spectacular fashion with thunder and lightning and a heavy downpour. The garden certainly needed it and everything was looking brighter, particularly this Rose of Sharon from our Hibiscus tree.

We continue to enjoy our visit by our friend from Essex. We look forward to a real treat this evening when we have our local family join us for an African/Middle Eastern meal. There may be a photo tomorrow!
