Otro Buda.

A souvenir of the last week, from the extensive shop at Castillo Menorca when we spent an afternoon there. I have a couple of dozen Buddhas in various formats, but couldn’t resist this not so little chubby chap - all the others are the slender meditating Tibetan style. I don’t usually like the fat ones but was drawn to this; it seems to radiate happy feelings. The shop manager said all the staff rubbed his belly whenever they came into work. It wasn’t cheap, and weighs a lot, but #1D negotiated a whopping 25% discount Taught her well. She also carried it to the car as I couldn’t lift it. Useful place for my sunglasses too.
