25th wedding anniversary

We decided to celebrate our anniversary at Comrie Croft campsite because we've had so many lovely times there over the years.

We arrived early and wandered through the woods into Comrie for lunch. Bus back to the campsite and walked up to our kata. It was fab! A beautiful pitch in the middle of the woods. We drank posh bubbles from mugs because there were no glasses and we exchanged poems we'd written for each other because we agreed on no presents.

Spent the evening by a roaring fire, playing cards and being daft. We were even joined by a wee mouse that made a beeline straight for us. I loved that. Hubby was slightly terrified.

The thunder and lightning arrived in the middle of the night so we got out of bed to watch that.

It was an absolutely perfect silver wedding anniversary celebration. Neither of us could have asked for more :-)
