Wow.

The predicted weather duly delivered, and how. Torrential rain last night and a spectacular lightening storm. One landed uncomfortably close and has fritzed our phones and broadband router and left us without power until lunchtime today. 

Luckily, as I never throw anything away I have selection of old routers in a box in the garage. Once wired up it is significantly faster than BT's latest offering. Puzzled.

The phones will have to go and live in the bin recycling centre and a visit to Argos arranged.

The fresher weather is most welcome though.
