Details of Aix-en-Provence
After enjoying Bb's apricot shot yesterday on his collage, I thought I'd focus on details in Aix today and so these are in my main pic.
It was very nice to have a relaxed few hours on the terrace of our room this morning and we had coffee, yogurt, mini croissants and cheese for breakfast - bought yesterday in the local Spar supermarket just along the road. The only thing missing was orange juice!
Then out for lunch. With it being a public holiday here today, we'd booked a table at Cafe de Paris for 2pm. See Bb's blip for the conversation we had about food and what influenced his choice today! I had steak tartare.
We'd found out there was an Raoul Dufy exhibition on and it happened to be 10 mins from our lunch place. We both love his use of colours, so off we went. Well worth it and we left with a few postcards. The venue was also lovely and had a beautiful garden and cafe. See my extra for one of Bb outside the exhibition and of a video show inside.
Now on our way back to the hotel and we've stopped off at a little bistro terrace we liked the look of yesterday.
I think we'll have nibbles on our terrace tonight and read our books.
Another lovely day in Aix!
Another collage on as an extra. It's very photogenic here!
