Surfin' Safari

Still hot today, but signs of the heatwave coming to an end, with a bit of high cloud in the sky.  At one point we even had rain, although I would not be lying if I said I could count the number of drops we saw.  We decided to go and cool down a little after lunch, so drove to East Runton and paddled all the way down to Cromer and back.  It's only about a mile each way but we both noticed that walking in six to twelve inches of sea water added to the effort required; we could both feel muscles at the top of the leg we'd not noticed before!  Good to see the beaches at both ends full of holidaymakers enjoying themselves but a note to self; the bit in the middle was quiet so probably a good place to swim!
