Half a wet day? or A half wet day?
Thursday = wandering day, if we take off anywhere it's generally on a Thursday. Kendal 1st stop, I've never before parted with a pair of shoes with several miles of tread left, but I'm fufufufed up with Velcro© fastenings which persist in not working. Laces yup, Slip on yup, Velcro (How do you spell raspberry? Phthrrrrt?).
Thence to Windermere for a brew and shop @ Lakeland. There'll be pink snow the day we come out of there with only what we went for, this time a meat thermometer snuck into the bag.
Onward and upward to Hayes and another brew, where we came away with a rather bonny Hydrangea macrophylla, amongst other things. I have my doubts about the accuracy of the label, I'm positive there were a couple of different flower formats, but this topped the favourite vote.
YARK!! I've just read the label wudjer bleeve it?? It actually says
"Intended for decoration and not for consumption"
The half wet day ... Like you see, (Shot from their cuppatearia) up to the point where we left for the home run.
