First full day house and dog sitting - house rather large - still finding way around - so many doors to choose from - still walking into family bathroom expecting to find my bedroom

After breakfast walked through Gas House Woods and Escrick Park estate with Bronte dog and Yorkshirebred - prior to catching bus to York - to use Betty’s Tea Room voucher - upon being told there would be a 40 minute wait - ate at Mollie’s Tea Room in York Antique Centre - as seen on Bargain Hunt - prior to walking to College Green - nearby the Minster to discover this Lion - part of a menagerie scattered around York - all covered in artificial grass

Thunder - lightning - and torrential rain occurring as I type this - glad Bronte doesn’t need walking again - another plus the garden won’t need watering - and should start looking greener
