Wilting

Mr A was late back last night, so I’d kept my phone on as I always worry about him until I know he’s back safe.

Sod’s law that the one night I don’t put the phone on flight mode, a patient sees fit to ring (not once, but twice) at 1am to cancel his appointment for today!
The phone woke us both and we then struggled to get back to sleep, so as a result have spent the day wilting.

To add insult to injury, the same person also called at 8.30am when we started work this morning.
It’s going to be an early night tonight to make up for the lost zeds from last night and also because we have an early (7.30am) start tomorrow morning.
I’m sure I didn’t sign up for this! :-0
