Even with an almost two-hour lunch to accommodate popping to the blood donor centre and taking the usual long way into the office and only getting up at half five to check the error queue I still managed to gain over an hour of flex by the time I got home, did some tasks and checked in, finding an urgent-ish continuation of last week's issue, with a reply sent by the customer only a few minutes after I'd left the office. If I'd seen it before leaving I would have still had to leave quite soon afterwards, but might have gone straight home rather than past a shop.
