A Walk In The Forest

A bit of a grey start to the day: cold, breezy and drizzly. I went for a walk in the forest to check on all the toads and toad spawn I'd seen a fortnight ago. Not a sign of them! The toads had returned to their terrestrial homes and there was no sign of spawn along the edge of the pond.

The forest always provides a lovely, quiet, sheltered walk.

I'm going to find it quite a challenge to be without my 55 - 250mm lens for a few weeks while it gets repaired. I think that's going to mean no kingfisher blips in the near future!
