Birling Gap
This morning we had another look at the lambs, still very cute.
I drove to the village of Alfriston and we went for a walk and saw some cows and cute little calves.
Foolishly my parents took the car keys and the phone signal was somewhat lacking so Nick and I spent 1 hour walking then thought it was time to head to the coast while my parents were waiting for me to phone them but didn't receive my calls or texts.
When we did finally locate them, I drove us down to Birling Gap and we walked down to the beach. We saw the houses perched precariously on the cliff edge and the huge chunks of chalk that had fallen off. We explored some rock pools but only found snails and limpets, no crabs which was a bit disappointing. It was nice being by the sea though.
Nick has gone back to London now but I'm here a few more days with the family. I'm pretty tired, will maybe have a quieter day tomorrow and stay more local. I've done a lot of driving today which I'm not that used to as I don't own a car. Thanks for the comments on my 100th blip, it's been fun and this is a nice community of people to be part of.
