Am very grateful for my sister today coming to do my papering and also inspiring me to do things to finish off the room.  I wasn't sure what I was going to do with the fireplace as although I was glad I got it cleaned up I didn't like the beige colour it was. I went and got some white tile paint and was just delighted with how much better it looks after a couple of coats. All I need to do is possibly one more coat tomorrow or touching it up at least because it wasn't daylight so I have a sneaking suspicion I'll have missed bits!
