Man on a mission..

We were trying to stop our neighbour from opening the large metal door over our land. It's all to do with him showing he can get light into the proposed barn conversion (which he can't). It's trespass. We put up this device after dark and when he found out the next morning he came round with a sledgehammer. A very angry man. He wanted to buy our plot (with a derelict building on) but the then owner wouldn't sell to him as he has issues with everyone and is a bit of a bully. So been seething ever since. Anything he can do to disrupt the lives of anyone living there.
So having demolished the device ends up assaulting my wife, causing criminal damage etc, and half an hour later is arrested. I was out of shot in the photo, I had rigged up a phone to record movement and caught him actually hitting my (fearless!) wife.
He was trying to maintain a dubious access over our drive, and now he's lost that and any chance he had of converting the barn. He is banned from our property and cannot contact us.
Nobody has stood up to him in the village before. And now a 69 year old woman has done just that.
He had a very disturbing influence just by being in close proximity. Now he's not it's much more peaceful.
