Picnic at Balloch

We decided to take a family ride out towards Balloch along the canal cycle path today with a picnic, it was a beautiful sunny day with a slight wind.

We made it all the way out to Balloch and then had some sandwiches and some tasty wine before running around the huge open space with Amélie. She had the time of her life and was giggling and falling all over the place. We made our way back slowly along the canal line and had some dinner before putting the little tired one to bed.

Joni and I sat up late with yet another bottle of wine and talked about the gigs we had been to throughout the years, it must have been being at Balloch Park that sparked it, as we had both been at the huge Oasis gig there, many many moons ago.
