Hanging in….

The hospice nurse said that we can expect mom to live a day, or maybe three or four depending on her reserves. She doesn’t think she’s dying - she’s got such willpower to live that she won’t give up until the bitter end. But she’s comfortable, sleeping, surrounded by family. It’s given the four of us siblings and various of our children a lot of time to spend together talking and reminiscing and looking at old photos, which is very precious indeed. Mom is bringing the family together right until the end.
