Blue Jay

Today was a bright sunny day. I got out for my evening walk to see the sun lower in the sky once again it seems by this time of year the days getting shorter once again become noticeable even if the change is small right now. I spotted this poor looking blue jay tonight looking for peanuts. In August many of the birds tend to molt and it makes them look funny. This one seemed to have lost all of its head feathers. I am sure in a month they will be back again
