Shadow Stretched ...

... a couple of blocks north on Market Street, early this afternoon. on a long multi-block walk   A sunny summer day.

Preparations today for friends who are coming from Connecticut for lunch tomorrow; we haven't seen them for several years.    Most notably Marylee baked a polenta pound cake.

We watched tennis in Cincinnati,  in particular a match between  Francis Tiafoe (USA) and Matteo Berretini (Italy), rooting strongly for Francis. who finally won in a third set tiebreak.
