MM: Minimalism

This is about as minimal as it gets. I took a gazillion photos today and processed every single one for today's challenge. This was the one I settled on. I thought it was neato. Thanks to Mole for hosting and for the cool themes.

Today is Reno brother's birthday. I recently learned the meaning of the term "Irish twins".  It describes us. We're less than a year apart. Exactly 51 weeks. Every year I remind him that we're the same age for a week. He's underwhelmed by it.  We had a really nice talk, including the play by play of the battle of the hummingbirds at his feeder.

Ran out of printer ink so flew to the library for things I needed for the Tubac exhibit. Last minute got it wired up, labeled and delivered in the nick of time.

In other news...had a plumber come out to fix a toilet. With his auger, he pulled out what looked like a wadded up cloth or paper towels. Trouble started the same day my house was cleaned. Didn't take a genius to figure out what happened.

Two old farmers are walking down a road when they hear a motorcycle behind them but are shocked when the driver passes them and the biker is headless. The two men look at each other and shrug. They continue down the road and a bicyclist comes up behind them and he, too, is headless.

The two old men continue to walk down the road, when the one walking along the inside turns to the other one.

"You know, Allen, I think maybe you should carry that scythe on your other shoulder."

Just before the funeral services, the undertaker came up to the very elderly widow and asked, "How old was your husband?"

"Ninety eight," she replied, "two years older than me."

"So you're 96?" the undertaker commented.

She responded, "Hardly worth going home, is it?"
