A very early walk

As the temperature is going to be quite high today, Nigel and I went out for a very early walk! It was quite foggy and by the time we arrived back, the sun was out and started to roast us again! 
We spent the rest of the day at home making passata and a yummy artichoke risotto. I was given artichokes by our allotment neighbour who cultivates them, but doesn’t eat them. 
Nigel and I went on another walk in the evening and stopped at the allotment to water it. 
It’s my friend J’s birthday today! Sending her lots of birthday wishes! :-)
