Return To The Mansionhouse

Pat and I returned to our Volunteer Work. The House was warm and the air was very humid. The forecast was for thunderstorms starting in the afternoon.

In the long gallery on the first floor, the fire exit door to the external escape stair was open. I took today’s Blipfoto standing on the top landing outside the House.

The wall which fell down thanks to the Beast From The East is now completely rebuilt and the colour of the stone matches the grass.

The day felt very long and everyone was uncomfortable. The forecast was for the storm by 4:00 p.m.

There was no sign and I watered the various plants before enjoying a rather refreshing long cocktail.
