Feast Vs. Famine.

Under "normal" circumstances it frequently looks like this.  I have seen it look like this 2-3 times; maybe more?

As we weren't here in 1976, I thought that after this session of "drought" I'd take a run out to Brougham, just in case these thunder storms ever arrive; looking in the Rain Gauge I can't tell if we've had a very light rain or a very heavy Dew.

By a fortunate coincidence, I shot up and down on all/both(?) occasions.
The field of view isn't identical in all shots, since I didn't check before I set off; but there's enough for comparison I think?
