Rain, please!

Still waiting for the rain. At the moment the storms have passed us by.

We haven’t a lawn, fortunately, but our neighbour’s is looking very brown. Partly because their ‘so called’ gardeners always cut it too short, and would you believe it, the lawn experts came round on Monday spraying it all over. Not sure if that was weed killer or lawn feed or both. I did think they would know better. Perhaps they thought it would rain after they had sprayed it.
So this is the view from our lounge windows at the moment. Also noticed the copper beech tree is shedding a few brown and shrivelled leaves.
F and family won’t be bothered as they are on a riding holiday in Italy. Hope it isn’t too hot there.

I have just ordered some more sun cream from Boots. So you can all expect rain now!
Sunny intervals, no breeze and 22C at the moment. Perfect weather for me.
Still hoping it rains tonight.
