Murky Waters
I drove Kate, Joel & Sophie to Bristol Airport this morning to catch their holiday flight to Turkey - a bit of a shock to have to put the windscreen wipers on!
Actually, the car seemed to be in shock generally as, a few miles away from the airport, the tyre pressure warning lights came on and I kept my fingers crossed until we got there and I dropped them off safely.
A quick check of the pressure at the first petrol station on the way back revealed nothing too much amiss but, despite having topped the tyres up, the warning message didn’t disappear so I drove back gingerly, stopping regularly to check that all was well. The blip was taken on my final pit stop near Westhay, where the hot weather seemed to have affected the water too. You may just spot the Tor in the distance.
I took the car into the local garage when I got home; they gave it the once over and couldn’t find anything wrong either but at least the dashboard display wasn’t sending out dire warnings after they’d looked at it.
