Shabtis

The Ancient Egyptians believed that they had to do manual labour in the afterlife , just as they did in life . Shabtis are small figures which were placed in tombs to magically perform these tasks on be half of the occupier ………bit like the laundry fairy at home I suppose ??? :-))
