Plaque

Saw this plaque in East Cowes today. Both these ships were built, and launched in East Cowes in 1936.
Each year in May there is a commemoration of the defence of Cowes and East Cowes by the ORP Blyskawica. In May 1942 the ship was in East Cowes for a refit during the Second World War Blitz.
The Towns commemorated the 80th anniversary this May.
