Not all heroes make big statements

In Highgate Cemetery today I discovered the grave of Anthony Froshaug. Together with Jan Tschichold one of the greatest pioneers of modern typography. You have probably never heard of him. 


Meanwhile in the ground across the path from the grave of Karl Marx is Paul Foot, campaigning journalist (see extra). Poor old Anthony would be spinning in his grave if he saw the squeeze on that lettering.
