Bob the Vicar

Today has been people people people. I was up and out early to get to San An to meet up with one of the team. Great to have time together and catchup. Whilst in San An I also got some centre stuff sorted, namely finding a company who are going to come and remove the old sign from our new centre - it'll transform the look of the outside as the old massive (2.5m long) sign has old wires hanging out of it etc...Hopefully that'll happen next week when we're in the UK. I also picked up a cake for Claire (extra) as we were celebrating her birthday early before we're away. The couple who made it know Claire and when they heard it was for her they absolutely refused any payment - how utterly kind is that?!!
I met up with Bob at lunchtime and Danny collected us and brought us back to town. He leads a church in Dundee, Scotland, and is a totally fascinating guy. He's here for 2 weeks to see how we are/what we are...so much brilliant conversation and sharing (and pizza). Then great to wander round town and see people, especially our dear Sole.
He and I met up with 2 of the team and had time praying in the centre which was really encouraging and then went straight on to Caña Club for Claire's early birthday celebrations. A lovely evening with everyone.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Different expressions of kindness I've received today, one example being a book about Pais arriving - courtesy of amandoAlentejo - thankyou!
2) Hearing some of Bob's life story.
3) The eclectic mix of folks at Caña Club tonight.
