In Steel's Place, which I pass frequently but rarely explore. 

I spent most of the day getting ready to go away tomorrow to the Lake District - by train, which has its challenges, in these days of strikes and staff shortages. I've lost track of how many times I've changed my ticket. The latest news this evening was that there is a signalling fault near Carstairs so replacement buses are running between Edinburgh and Carlisle. Hey ho, we will see what tomorrow brings.
