BEAUTY SPOT

I went to the Bicton Baths for blip's challenge today.  We call it Bicton Baths for convenience as the pool is the other side of the jetty and out of sight here.  Those Baths have seen many a great water polo player work their craft.  We've shared fish n chips here in summer with our son and family (Sophia and Isy) and the girls have enjoyed the playground nearby.  The place heaves in summer but today, wet, windy and stormy, there weren't many about.  You can see another storm front approaching in the background.

There's been a feast of baking this morning - MrD and I have been fighting manoeuvring ourselves for space in the kitchen - mini quiches, spaghetti bolognaise (a request from Angus) and hamburgers ready for dinner.  MrD baked
(Oooooo there's thunder and lightning as I type) - his favourite slice, too healthy for anyone, and an apple pie.

I feel the little buds have grown overnight.
