Namaqua Daisies

Just a wee number for us but Namaqualand have thousands of these on display just now, it is such a spectacular sight and two of the ladies from Bookclub are right in the middle of them, on the north west coast. It’s such a beautiful time of year.

A bit of a frustrating day as I got to the office early only to find the Internet was down, and creating a hotspot when the signal is poor is not much of a solution.

We finished the day with a fun supper with John, Angie, and their grandson Jaden.

Jaden has had a rough life, being caught up in the gangs at one of the local coloured community, and almost losing his life trying to get out.

With little schooling and a disabled hand from being stabbed multiple times, John and Angie are doing what they can to get him back on track both academically and physically. They are doing a fine job as he is evolving into a lovely and respectful young which is great to see.
