Wide Wednesday

Local beauty spot. We are at Narrabeen and had a walk down to look at the surf at high tide. I found the waves fascinating. We don’t see many waves in Bathurst. 

We spent the morning searching the shops in Mona Vale for a mattress protector for our bed. Didn’t find what we wanted but bought birthday presents for Zach (11) and Olivia (13). After lunch at the local cafe we caught a bus ( 3 buses) to our daughter’s place in Cammeray where we had dinner to celebrate Zach’s birthday. Unfortunately he had a headache and temperature and stayed in bed for the evening. 

We both find driving in the city a stress so decided to try the bus. That was an experience and we managed to find out how and where to get the connections in strange suburbs. Tomorrow we are bussing it into the city and meeting PAR1 at the botanic gardens for a mini blip meet.
