Muddy turtle
Sunday
This morning was Bell Sunday at church where the music for the prelude, anthem, offertory and postlude was provided by the two bell choirs. It went pretty well, and I think was well received. That will be the last time we play now until after the summer. If you're interested in hearing some of our music, you can go here, and then go to 8.06, 32.50 and 72.30. After second service, quite a number of us went out for lunch at a nearby restaurant. Then it was back home for our weekly Skype session with Laura in Macedonia, before going out walking at Glenwood Gardens, to work off some of the calories we'd put on at lunch! It was there, that we came across this impressive-looking turtle - I believe it's a common snapping turtle, but I'm open to correction. It looked as if it had just been for a mud bath - its shell was covered in mud!
