Nicky’s crystal

This is the pretty calming crystal Nicky gave me yesterday.

Claire Keegan can no longer come to the event I had a ticket for on Saturday, and as my train home that day was cancelled due to the strike, I decided to buy a ticket back after Ian McKellan’s Hamlet on Friday. Jenny was a bit disappointed, as I was, but the bonus is it gives me 3 days to get ready for Scandinavia, not 2.

Then, after doing a Covid test, I called on old friends in Pondicherry. My #1 daughter and her #3 met on first day at school and her daughter insisted on taking us to see her new baby brother. They lived on our walk home. They couple who became good friends, are now in their 80s and Tom has got bone cancer. He made the coffee then went back to work with his son who runs the family business with diggers and excavations. He can’t not work.

I’ve spent the afternoon trying to work out distances and places to stay and things to do in Sweden before I need to get ready to go over to Chris’s for supper.
