View of Salts church
View as we looked out of a window about to leave Salts Mill. We had lunch there on the top floor. It was excellent. We looked at David Hockney’s longest work: 90 odd metres wide! It spanned the length of the mill room twice! An amazing creation made up of numerous iPad drawings. Must have been a nightmare to Print. Called ‘A Year in Normandie’ as you go along it the seasons change. His work is so wonderfully vibrant.
We saw other works done on the iPad and filmed. We also went into the wonderful bookshops! I only bought one on Hockney but was very tempted by others!
We walked I to Saltaire but not far! And saw the four lions two each side of the road by what I believe used to be a factory school.
