I was overdue a visit to my dad who lives about an hour away, so we decided to combine it with a walk starting at Dinas Powys, a few miles away from his home.

This weeks W-I-D-E on Wednesday Challenge has the theme 'a local beauty spot' and the photograph is taken of Cwm George woods a short walk from the golf course in Dinas Powys.

After visting my dad we headed home for me to have a bite before heading to my sons this evening to watch the West Brom v Cardiff City FC match, whilst Mrs BB goes swimming with a work colleague.
