Bees are Buzzing in the trees

We took a trip to the allotment afterwork tonight. I needed to let off some steam and this was the perfect place to do so. 

It wasn't sunny, but it wasn't cold.  The Allotment was quiet - only a couple of other plotholders in. 

The flowers were all looking amazing  - sunflowers all different colours, many, many sweetpeas.  The beets are coming into their own, the sweet corn isn't far away. Onions drying out nicely.  I think the Brussels are coming on, and the pears look like they are going to be lovely. 

The flowers around the whole plot were the very best thing though.   The place was literally humming with the noise from the flowers.  Bee's laying on large heads, drunk with pollen, busy small bees fliting from head to head.  I saw so many. 

After an hour - i was feeling quite calm and chilled, and now we are coming home for Boy and Jess to make us dinner.
