Farewell to the Abrolohos

It was sad to be flying out this morning after 6 just fantastic days.

A perfect place for fishing and friendship and there was a lot of both.

This is Pidgeon Island which is part of the Wallabies Group in the Abrolhos Islands, North of Perth.

The small huts on the Island belong to licensed fishermen who use these huts as a base when crayfishing.

The boats in the lagoon are "boaties" fortunate enough to have a boat, or a friend or very generous brother with a boat.

A week to remeber on all accounts, and one I will find very hard, if not impossible to repay in some way..but I will try.
