View from Winhill
Its a lot cooler today and we said our goodbyes to my sister and her husband and headed uptown the Peak District. We drove through a fair amount of rain but fortunately it had stopped raining when we arrived in Hathersage. As we had some spare time after lunch before our accommodation was available we decided to take a look at Ladybower Reservoir. The water levels are certainly low as can be seen in the extra. We ended up walking up through the surrounding woods to Winhill where there are some lovely views back towards the reservoir and surrounding hills and valleys. The heather is in full bloom and smells beautiful. As this is a panorama of an area that is certainly a beauty spot its one for Wide Wednesday, thanks to BobsBlip for hosting.
