Llanwrst

WEDNESDAY

A day of exploring in North Wales:

First stop was Gwydir Castle near Llanwrst which is actually a fortified Manor House dating back to c 1500. An interesting place and lots of peacocks in the grounds.

Next stop was for lunch at Tu Hwnt i'r Bont (see extra) which is next to the river in Llanwrst.

Final stop was the Capel Garmon Burial Chamber which dates back to 2500 BC.
