Busy Day

Today was a mega-baby-sitting day, from first thing to late afternoon. Lots of different activities, one of which was baking scones with LMB for the first time. She had a lovely light touch for rubbing the butter into the flour. I hoped baking them herself might induce her to like them, but not so. She enjoyed the process, was proud of the results, and she did eat half a buttered scone - so fair enough if she tried some. They were delicious, though!

Mr PP went to the bungalow to take delivery of our new replacement mattress. Have to leave it 48 hours to fully inflate to the required dimensions, but already looking good. At this rate, Friday night will most likely be our first in our new home. Tomorrow, Mrs B has yet another hospital appointment, but I think I'll be sharing the caring with The Other Granny! ;-)
