because right now - there are a - plethora of them - blooming in a - variety of garden plots - and each stalk appears - to be different, one from - the other which - totally amazes me - i always thought - there was just - one kind of sunflower

that was typically - the kind you’d see - growing by the side - of the road in - the midwest by - the cornfields out - in no man’s land - which is sort of - where i grew up - it wasn’t until i - moved here that - i came to realize - how very wrong - and uneducated, i was - so i thought it - might be fun - over the next - few days to highlight - some of these - fabulous sunny orbs - just for the - sheer delight of it - and of course - to claim it as…
